You will lead GLM pricing, rate indications, and 50‑state filings, modernize actuarial tools, and own complex pricing and filing projects. Senior, remote/hybrid US role requiring ASA or ACAS and ~7+ years of insurance pricing experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead GLM-based pricing for retail and wholesale travel insurance products
- Prepare actuarial memos, exhibits and 50-state filings including CA and NY
- Own end-to-end actuarial projects, from scoping to execution and documentation
- Hands-on work with Python, R, Emblem, SQL, Excel/VBA and data visualization
- Hybrid US role; comfortable working remotely and collaborating across teams
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Travel insurance pricing (retail and wholesale)
- GLM modelling for ratemaking
- 50-state rate filings including complex states like CA and NY
- Experience studies and rate indications
- Managing large, complex actuarial and filing projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or ACAS designation required
- Approximately 7+ years of A&H, P&C, or related actuarial experience
- Strong GLM modelling and pricing methodology expertise
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, Emblem, SQL, Excel/VBA
- Experience preparing and managing multi-state rate filings
