Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Executive P&C actuarial engineering role focused on commercial lines analytics and brokerage solutions in New York (hybrid). You will design, validate, and operationalize Python-based actuarial models (D&O, Cyber, GL, PL, Property) and translate outputs into client- and executive-ready deliverables while partnering with solution engineers on Azure Databricks.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead development of an actuarial model library across commercial lines (D&O, Cyber, GL, PL, Property)
Design, build, validate, and operationalize Python-based models on Azure Databricks
Translate complex actuarial outputs into executive-ready presentations for brokers and clients
Hybrid role — at least 3 days per week in an EPIC office (preferred San Ramon, CA; open to other offices)
Senior executive role requiring 7+ years actuarial experience and production-level Python

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Commercial lines actuarial experience (D&O, Cyber, GL, PL, Property)
3+ years in brokerage, carrier, or consulting commercial-lines environments
Production-level Python actuarial modelling and codebase hygiene
Experience operationalizing models into production and SDLC handoffs

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of actuarial experience with 3+ years in commercial-lines brokerage/carrier/consulting
Production-level Python for actuarial modelling and data manipulation
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
Working knowledge of SDLC, version control, testing, and engineering handoff
Comfort with large policy/claims datasets and Databricks/Azure platforms
