JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Build, validate, and operationalize commercial-lines actuarial models in Python
- Focus on D&O, Cyber, General Liability and Professional Liability analytics
- Work on Azure Databricks platform with solution engineering partners
- Hybrid role — at least 3 days/week in an EPIC office (office flexible)
- Senior-level role for credentialed actuaries with strong commercial-lines experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial lines actuarial experience across D&O, Cyber, GL, PL
- Experience building actuarial models in Python
- Operationalizing models on Databricks/Azure or equivalent
- Familiarity with brokerage analytics and placement/renewal cycles
- SDLC fluency including version control and testing
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of actuarial experience with 3+ years in commercial-lines brokerage/carrier/consulting
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Production-level Python for actuarial modelling and data manipulation
- Experience operationalizing models within an SDLC and collaborating on Databricks/Azure
- Proven ability to translate actuarial outputs into executive-facing deliverables
