JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- SVP-level Chief Actuary & Underwriting for Individual Division (Lincoln, NE; hybrid)
- Own pricing, reserving, product development, underwriting and P&L for individual products
- Lead actuarial certifications, regulatory filings, and block valuation for acquisitions
- Build and mentor actuarial and underwriting teams; drive analytics and digital transformation
- Report to the Executive Vice President and serve on Individual Division executive team
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Individual life insurance pricing and risk management
- Annuity product pricing, valuation and financial projections
- Disability income product expertise
- Comprehensive underwriting knowledge and philosophy
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow, Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- 15+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry
- 7–10 years of leadership or management experience required
- Deep expertise in individual life, annuity, and disability income products
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required
