Executive-level life pricing role leading Retirement Services pricing for annuity products and DC services in Houston, TX. You will own new business and in-force pricing, crediting rate setting, assumption setting, and lead a pricing team. Reports to the EVP of Product, Pricing and Investments and partners with Product, Finance, Actuarial and Distribution.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing for variable, fixed and index annuity products
- Manage and develop the Retirement Services pricing team
- Own new business and in-force profitability analysis and assumption setting
- Member of Pricing and Rate Setting Committees and governance routines
- Partner with Product, Finance, Actuarial and Distribution on pricing strategy
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Annuity product pricing (variable, fixed, index)
- Crediting rate setting and rate committee experience
- Experience with GAAP and statutory accounting for annuities
- In-force block profitability and financial bridge analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years in pricing or actuarial roles with 5+ years in leadership
- Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- Deep knowledge of annuity pricing, GAAP and statutory accounting
- Proven experience leading pricing teams and governance committees
- Ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients
