Executive-level Life/Annuities pricing role leading Retirement Services pricing for variable, fixed and indexed annuities and DC recordkeeping in Houston. You will own new-business and in-force pricing, assumption setting, profitability bridges, and lead a high-performing pricing team while partnering with Product, Finance and Actuarial.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing for variable, fixed and index annuities and DC recordkeeping
  • Own new-business and in-force pricing, assumption setting, and profitability bridges
  • Manage and develop a pricing team and serve on Pricing and Rate Setting Committees
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Distribution and Actuarial
  • Fellow of the SOA (FSA) required; Houston, TX based with up to 25% travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Annuity pricing and product profitability
  • Crediting rate setting and rate setting governance
  • GAAP and statutory accounting knowledge for annuities
  • Assumption setting and in-force experience analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years in pricing or actuarial roles with at least 5 years in leadership
  • Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation required
  • Deep annuity pricing, GAAP and statutory accounting knowledge
  • Experience setting assumptions and driving pricing governance
  • Ability to present and advocate pricing recommendations to senior leaders
