Executive-level life pricing role leading Retirement Services pricing for annuity products and DC services in Houston, TX. You will own new business and in-force pricing, crediting rate setting, assumption setting, and lead a pricing team. Reports to the EVP of Product, Pricing and Investments and partners with Product, Finance, Actuarial and Distribution.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing for variable, fixed and index annuity products
  • Manage and develop the Retirement Services pricing team
  • Own new business and in-force profitability analysis and assumption setting
  • Member of Pricing and Rate Setting Committees and governance routines
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Actuarial and Distribution on pricing strategy

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Annuity product pricing (variable, fixed, index)
  • Crediting rate setting and rate committee experience
  • Experience with GAAP and statutory accounting for annuities
  • In-force block profitability and financial bridge analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years in pricing or actuarial roles with 5+ years in leadership
  • Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
  • Deep knowledge of annuity pricing, GAAP and statutory accounting
  • Proven experience leading pricing teams and governance committees
  • Ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients
