JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own pricing strategy for Commercial and Specialty product lines
- Partner with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance and ERM on portfolio decisions
- Lead and develop a high-performing actuarial pricing team
- Drive AI-enabled actuarial capabilities and data modernization
- Hybrid role based in Chicago, reporting to the EVP & Chief Actuary
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial and specialty pricing strategy
- Reinsurance analysis and optimization
- Underwriting and portfolio profitability management
- Pricing governance and rate review strategy
- Experience leading actuarial transformation and AI adoption
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS designation required
- Typically 15+ years of related experience
- 10+ years of people leadership experience
- Proven experience in pricing strategy across commercial and specialty lines
- Demonstrated ability to drive transformational change across large organizations
