- Assist with data calls, market monitoring, and legislative impact analysis
- Journey-level actuarial role in the Life and Health Actuarial Office in Austin, TX
- Position expects attainment of SOA associateship within a defined period
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Experience in life and health insurance
- Six months' actuarial field experience
- Knowledge of loss reserving and pricing methods
- Experience with actuarial review of rate filings
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field required
- Expected to achieve SOA associateship (ASA) within six years of employment
- Must list professional exams passed toward SOA associateship on application
- Must be eligible to work in the US; agency does not sponsor employment visas
- Regular work attendance and ability to meet deadlines
