JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform actuarial examinations and prepare examination reports and workpapers
- Review actuarial opinions and supporting actuarial reports for life, annuity, and health
- Provide feedback, coaching and technical assistance to colleagues
- Hybrid-eligible role based in Austin, TX with collaboration via Microsoft Teams
- Actuary III/IV level; progress toward or maintenance of SOA credentials expected
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Reserving and solvency regulation experience for life, annuity, or health products
- Experience performing actuarial examinations and preparing workpapers
- Experience reviewing actuarial opinions and supporting actuarial reports
- Knowledge of insurance laws, rules, and regulatory requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- Actuary III: minimum of 3 years of relevant actuarial work experience
- Actuary IV: minimum of 4–5 years and ASA or FSA (SOA) and AAAs membership in good standing
- Ability to interpret insurance laws, regulations, and actuarial guidance
- Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship (no sponsorship provided)
