JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform actuarial examinations and prepare examination reports for health insurers
- Review actuarial opinions, supporting reports, and reserve analyses
- Work with regulatory teams on solvency and audit-related matters
- Hybrid-eligible role based in Austin, TX (secure home workspace required)
- Actuary III–IV levels; progression toward or holding ASA/FSA expected
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- reserving and reserve analysis for life/annuity/health
- solvency regulation and regulatory examinations
- auditing and review of actuarial opinions/reports
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college required
- Minimum 3 years relevant actuarial experience (Actuary III) and 4–5+ for Actuary IV
- Actuary IV requires ASA or FSA and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries
- Experience with reserving, solvency regulation, or actuarial audits for life/health
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; TDI does not sponsor visas
