The intern will support underwriting pipeline management, develop manual and experience rates for excess medical business, and assist with experience studies and KPI tracking. Fixed-term internship runs June–December 2026 with hybrid working.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Intern on US Health Pricing & Reserving team (June 2–Dec 17, 2026)
- Support underwriting pipeline and RFP intake for excess medical business
- Develop manual and experience rates using internal pricing models
- Assist with experience studies, KPI tracking, and RFP database updates
- Hybrid role in Maple Grove / Minneapolis area; Excel-heavy work
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Excess medical pricing support
- Experience study assistance
- Underwriting pipeline and RFP management
- KPI tracking including persistency and close ratios
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program
- Authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Available June 2–Dec 17, 2026 (35 hrs/wk June–Aug; 20 hrs/wk Sep–Dec)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- At least 18 years old
