Health underwriting consultant (Associate level) supporting commercial/group accounts in Colorado. You’ll analyze premium, claims, and exposure, build/use rate and benefit-pricing models, and recommend renewal and account strategies. Role is remote (must reside in Colorado), involves negotiating rates with brokers/customers, and partnering with Sales and Account Management.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Analyze premium, claims, exposure, and population risk for commercial health accounts
- Develop and document rate models and benefit-pricing tools to support underwriting
- Independently process renewals, negotiate rates, and create account plans
- Remote role (must reside in Colorado); ~10% travel
- Associate-level underwriting role; Bachelor’s + 3 years or 6 years’ experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years’ underwriting/financial experience, or 6 years’ experience

- Experience in underwriting, marketplace evaluations, or financial analysis
- Applied data analysis and financial modelling skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
