JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead and grow actuarial and data science teams for a P&C insurer
- Own reserving, pricing support, product development and loss forecasting
- Drive predictive modelling, machine learning and AI adoption
- Partner with Finance, Underwriting, IT and present to the Board
- Executive-level role based in Quincy, MA (VP Head of Actuarial)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- property and casualty actuarial experience
- senior leadership experience (5–7 years)
- reserving and actuarial valuation/assumption-setting
- predictive modelling and machine learning in insurance
- experience managing large cross-functional teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS or ACAS (or equivalent) required
- 15+ years progressive P&C actuarial experience
- 5–7+ years in senior leadership roles managing large teams
- Proven experience with predictive modelling, machine learning and AI in insurance
- Experience with Python, R and SQL
