Senior life & annuity actuarial role focused on reinsurance advisory and transaction work in Gallagher Re's Life Solutions Group. You will develop pricing and evaluation models, support cash flow testing and capital assessments (PBR, RBC), and advise clients on reinsurance and risk transfer. This VP role is client-facing and based in New York (other US office locations and flexible work arrangements are possible).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and evaluation models for life and annuity reinsurance transactions
- Advise clients on risk transfer, reinsurance proposals, and market trends
- Work with cash flow testing, PBR, RBC and capital methodologies
- Client- and broker-facing role with presentations to clients and industry events
- Based in New York with flexibility for other US office locations
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and annuity actuarial experience
- Annuity pricing or product development experience
- Statutory reinsurance accounting concepts
- Pricing and evaluation modeling for reinsurance transactions
- Capital methodologies and GAAP/IFRS knowledge (preferred)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of life and annuity actuarial experience
- Strong knowledge of pricing, product development and reinsurance accounting
- Experience with cash flow testing, PBR and RBC frameworks
- Excellent communication for client presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
