JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Medicare forecasting and trend analytics for UHG Trend Analytics
- Serve as lead actuary on large, complex analytic engagements
- Build and oversee forecast models using SAS, SQL, R, Python, Excel, PowerBI
- Manage and mentor actuarial staff and lead cross-functional programs
- Hybrid role — local to Eden Prairie, MN office 4+ days per week
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare experience
- healthcare actuarial experience (12+ years)
- actuarial leadership and people management
- trend and forecasting experience
- presenting to C-suite executives
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Credentialed actuary (FSA or ASA) required
- 12+ years of health care actuarial industry experience
- 7+ years of people and project management experience
- 5+ years of Medicare experience
- Local to MN and able to work in Eden Prairie office 4+ days/week
