JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing, reserving, catastrophe exposure and reinsurance strategy for Florida homeowners
- Serve as actuarial authority and issue the Statement of Actuarial Opinion (SAO)
- Manage and mentor actuarial leadership and staff; support succession planning
- Drive advanced analytics and predictive modeling using SQL and Python/R
- Jacksonville office role reporting to the CEO; full-time, exempt position
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property & Casualty actuarial experience
- Pricing and ratemaking expertise
- Reserving and SAO experience
- Reinsurance program development and oversight
- Catastrophe exposure and modeling experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS designation required or qualification to sign the SAO
- 10+ years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
