VP-level health actuarial role focused on PEO master/group health plans. You will lead a small actuarial team to deliver pricing, reserving, forecasting, predictive modelling and plan-performance reporting, develop data pipelines and BI dashboards, and serve on the Prospective Risk Management leadership committee. Nationwide / US role with remote work expectations.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead a small team of actuaries and analysts focused on PEO/group health plans
- Own pricing, renewal underwriting, reserving, trend studies and forecasting
- Drive predictive modelling, backtesting and BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau)
- Work with carriers and engineering to establish and maintain data pipelines
- Serve on Prospective Risk Management (PRM) leadership committee
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- health actuarial experience
- PEO master health plans or underwritten group insurance
- predictive modelling and health risk assessment
- pricing, renewal underwriting, reserving and trend studies
- data pipeline development experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of health actuarial experience
- Credentialed ASA or FSA required
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy)
- Knowledge of predictive modelling and health risk assessment
