Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Executive health actuarial role leading trend analytics modernization across UnitedHealth Group. You will define an AI-forward roadmap, modernize data and analytic workflows for medical cost trend forecasting and reporting, and lead a multi-year program that partners with actuarial, data, technology and business leaders. Location is Eden Prairie, MN with hybrid expectations and remote flexibility within the U.S.

Lead AI-forward modernization of trend forecasting and historical reporting
Drive multi-year program across actuarial, data, technology and business teams
Improve data pipelines, predictive signals, scalability and delivery speed
Hybrid role in MN/DC — four in-office days per week (remote within U.S. option)
Requires credentialed actuary (ASA or FSA) with 12+ years in healthcare payer actuarial roles

Broad actuarial experience within healthcare payer organizations

Leading modernization programs for actuarial workflows
Implementing advanced analytics or AI in actuarial applications

KEY REQUIREMENTS
