HIGHLIGHTS

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead reserving and valuation for Group Benefits (LTD, STD, Group Life, supplemental health)
Oversee financial reporting under GAAP, Statutory, and IFRS 17
Manage and develop a team of 5–7 actuarial professionals
Build and maintain complex, calculation-intensive actuarial models
Hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA with up to 10% travel

Group Benefit insurance (Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Group Life, supplemental health)
Valuation and financial reporting under GAAP, IFRS 17, and Statutory accounting
Model governance and reserve assumption setting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries required
Minimum 10 years directly related Group Benefits actuarial experience
Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS 17, and Statutory accounting
Experience managing an actuarial valuation team
