JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead experience studies and set assumptions for life and A&H reinsurance
Oversee pricing quotes, census development, actuarial and capital modeling
Collaborate with Valuation and ALM on in-force and investment assumptions
Manage and mentor actuarial staff; may have direct reports
VP-level role at a life & health-focused reinsurance company (US/MO)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Actuarial experience in life insurance and/or reinsurance
Experience studies and predictive analytics interpretation
Modeling Accident & Health product benefit payments
Pricing and capital modeling for reinsurance transactions
Advanced spreadsheet and actuarial software skills

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance and/or reinsurance
FSA accreditation required
Expert knowledge of Accident & Health products and experience studies
Ability to model insurance and reinsurance structures and capital models
Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or related
