Overview of the role

A critical component of our planning and forecasting processes is the forecasting of the expected results of our business strategies in multiple macroeconomic environments. The VP - FP&A - Business Coordination and Analytics will lead a team responsible for coordinating the forecasting of the results of our business strategies, working closely with the CFOs of our business segments. This role will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on financial performance of Corebridge and its segments against historical periods, budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate calendar and process for business segment inputs to be utilized in Corebridge planning and forecasting processes
  • Analyze outputs from planning and forecasting processes, with a focus on alignment with business strategies, financial performance articulated under both US GAAP and Statutory accounting lenses, as well as other key performance indicators
  • Produce standardized management reports and analytics for the Corebridge Finance leadership team, in partnership with segment CFOs
  • Oversee implementation of and change management controls around new tools, templates, and technology designed to improve FP&A planning and forecasting capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain model governance processes and best practices
  • Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals


Requirements
  • Position requires: an analytical individual; strategic mindset; robust attention to detail and accuracy; and strong knowledge of finance and accounting
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred; professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA or FSA) a plus
  • Experience in insurance industry preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience with data visualization tools
  • Experience working in a large, complex, and dynamic organization a plus
  • Comfortable performing effectively in fast-paced environment that requires problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team with strong collaboration and communication skills

For positions based in New York City, NY the base salary range is $115,000 -$170,000. For positions based in Woodland Hills, California, the base salary range is $110,000-$150,000.
