JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead life valuation for a large block, including reserve calculations and disclosures
- Drive modernization of valuation methodologies and analytics
- Provide technical actuarial leadership and mentor the valuation team
- Partner with finance and senior leadership on reporting and strategic recommendations
- Onsite position in League City or Downtown Houston, TX
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life valuation and reserve calculations
- Financial and statutory reporting for life products
- Valuation methodology review and process improvement
- Analytics and reporting to support block performance insights
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, or related field required
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
- ASA or FSA designation required
- Experience with life valuation, reserve calculations, and statutory reporting
- Proven leadership of valuation teams and transformation initiatives
