Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Executive life role (VP) on the Annuity Product Development team in Hartford, CT (also option for Des Moines or New York). You will lead retail annuity product design and pricing, build projection/pricing models (MG‑ALFA/Prophet/AXIS/Python/C++/Java), and drive product strategy and implementation across product, investments, risk, hedging, and finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead design and pricing of retail annuity products for the Individual Markets franchise
Build disciplined projection and pricing models using MG‑ALFA, Prophet, AXIS or code
Partner with investments, risk, hedging, finance, legal and distribution
Based in Hartford/Des Moines/New York offices with 4 days/week in-office (NY 5 days)
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Annuity and life insurance product development
Pricing and risk analysis for retail annuities
Programming financial models in MG‑ALFA, R3S, Prophet or AXIS
Experience with state and prospectus filings and product implementation
Knowledge of investments, hedging and capital impacts on products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, CS, Physics or Engineering
5+ years’ experience in annuity/life insurance product development preferred
5+ years programming financial models in MG‑ALFA, R3S, Prophet, AXIS or Python/C++/Java
Ability to lead projects and influence senior stakeholders across functions
