VP, Annuity Product Development (Life/Annuities) for Global Atlantic in New York. Lead retail annuity product design and pricing, build actuarial projection models (MG‑ALFA/Prophet/AXIS), and drive product strategy with finance, risk, investments and distribution partners. Senior leadership role reporting to the Director, Individual Markets, focused on profitability, sales growth and product implementation.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead retail annuity product development and pricing for Individual Markets
- Build and run projection models using MG‑ALFA, Prophet, AXIS or similar
- Drive product strategy, filings, sales illustrations and implementation
- Collaborate with investments, risk, hedging, finance and distribution
- Based in New York office (in-office 5 days/week); FSA required
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Annuity product development and retail distribution
- Programming actuarial projection software (MG-ALFA/Prophet/AXIS/R3S) or Python/C++/Java
- Product strategy development and financial analysis
- Knowledge of insurance, investments, finance and hedging
- Support for state and prospectus filings and sales illustrations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, CS or Engineering
- 5+ years programming financial models in actuarial software or Python/C++/Java
- Based in New York office (employees in NY are in office 5 days/week)
