JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead capital management strategic initiatives for a large legacy reinsurer
  • Manage a team of actuaries overseeing capital optimization and regulatory reporting
  • Work with actuarial, finance, and pricing teams on reinsurance and acquisition evaluations
  • Develop and implement internal capital models and governance frameworks
  • Hybrid role based in Nashville, TN. Base salary $215k-$245k + bonus

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Capital management experience
  • Regulatory capital (US RBC, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II)
  • Rating agency capital (Fitch Prism, AM Best BCAR)
  • Financial analysis of income statement and balance sheet
  • Actuarial projection or valuation software

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years insurance experience in valuation, modeling, or capital management
  • Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
  • Working knowledge of regulatory capital (US RBC, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II) and rating agency capital
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, math, or related field
