JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead capital management strategic initiatives for a large legacy reinsurer
Manage a team of actuaries overseeing capital optimization and regulatory reporting
Work with actuarial, finance, and pricing teams on reinsurance and acquisition evaluations
Develop and implement internal capital models and governance frameworks
Hybrid role based in Nashville, TN. Base salary $215k-$245k + bonus

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Capital management experience
Regulatory capital (US RBC, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II)
Rating agency capital (Fitch Prism, AM Best BCAR)
Financial analysis of income statement and balance sheet
Actuarial projection or valuation software

KEY REQUIREMENTS

15+ years insurance experience in valuation, modeling, or capital management
Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
Working knowledge of regulatory capital (US RBC, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II) and rating agency capital
Proven leadership and team management skills
Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, math, or related field
