JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead annual Individual Retirement experience studies and assumption unlocking
  • Provide oversight to the IR pricing team and pricing governance
  • Own procedures to monitor product experience and regulatory trends
  • Collaborate with Product, Hedging, Risk, Finance and Modeling teams
  • VP role reporting to the Individual Retirement Chief Finance Actuary; based in Houston hub or remote

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Pricing, hedging or risk managing embedded options within annuities
  • Leading annual experience studies and assumption unlocking
  • Actuarial modeling for annuity products
  • Annuity product expertise across Individual Retirement lines

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation required
  • 10+ years pricing, hedging, or risk-managing embedded options in annuities
  • Experience with actuarial modeling and annuity product expertise
  • Proven track record in prior insurance industry roles
  • Able to manage and lead a team of experience study professionals
