You will lead a team, partner with product, hedging, risk and finance, and report to the Individual Retirement Chief Finance Actuary. Location is Houston, TX (hybrid hubs) with flexibility for fully remote candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead annual Individual Retirement experience studies and assumption unlocking
- Provide oversight to the IR pricing team and pricing governance
- Own procedures to monitor product experience and regulatory trends
- Collaborate with Product, Hedging, Risk, Finance and Modeling teams
- VP role reporting to the Individual Retirement Chief Finance Actuary; based in Houston hub or remote
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pricing, hedging or risk managing embedded options within annuities
- Leading annual experience studies and assumption unlocking
- Actuarial modeling for annuity products
- Annuity product expertise across Individual Retirement lines
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 10+ years pricing, hedging, or risk-managing embedded options in annuities
- Experience with actuarial modeling and annuity product expertise
- Proven track record in prior insurance industry roles
- Able to manage and lead a team of experience study professionals
