Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C reserving leadership role (VP) leading a new Reserving Innovation & Data team in Jersey City, NJ. You will shape data and analytics strategy, drive ResQ and data platform initiatives, and lead a team to improve reserving efficiency and analytics. Role sits on the Actuarial Reserving and Loss Analytics leadership team and requires extensive P&C and people leadership experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead the Reserving Innovation & Data team to modernize reserving analytics
Own data quality, ResQ implementation, and integrations with IT/Enterprise Data
Drive data strategy using SQL, Python, Airflow and cloud (Snowflake)
Manage and mentor mid-level and junior actuarial/data staff
Hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ; VP-level position

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Property and Casualty actuarial or data experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years Property & Casualty experience in actuarial and/or data functions
5+ years managing a team
Strong proficiency with SQL and Python (or other coding language)
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Snowflake) and orchestration (Airflow)
Ability to operate independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
