Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role—the development plan and rotations outweigh depth in one modelling specialty.

Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in New York City, offered through AIG’s 2027 Actuarial Development Program. You’ll analyze data, support pricing and reserving work, and collaborate with Finance, Claims, Operations, and Risk Management while progressing through exams and later rotations.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree to be received no later than June 2027
  • Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027

Strongly preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice to have

  • Preferred majors: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Completion of or progress toward actuarial examinations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to analytical or programming tools (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing an actuarial career and professional credentials
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Excelled in previous work experience
