Closer to a reserving/reporting-cycle role than a people-leadership role—the management remit supports reserve delivery rather than being the whole job.
Manager-level P&C reserving role in AIG’s North America Specialty team in Boston, MA. You’ll oversee analysts, coordinate reserve reviews and reporting, improve reserving processes, manage controls and audits, and present results to senior business leaders.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- FIA or FCAS designation
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lines
- Experience of reviewing and managing reserving processes
- Experience of setting reserves
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes
- Ability to work collaboratively across disparate stakeholders and prioritize work effectively
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
