Entry-level Life actuarial analyst role in Cincinnati, Ohio, with an onsite office setting. You will support pricing, valuation, asset-liability management, product development, financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis while pursuing the FSA pathway.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in mathematics or related field
- Proven experience in exercising good judgment, problem-solving skills and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience setting professional goals and successfully implementing and achieving those goals
- Proven strong analytical skills, including ability to identify and quantify problems and provide effective solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Cite examples of working effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Commitment to learn actuarial software packages (ARCVal, ARCBase, MG-ALFA)
- Commitment to learn company policy administrative systems and data extraction
- Actively pursue FSA designation by attempting a SOA exam at each sitting
- Pass at least 50% of exams attempted
- Adhere to all Actuarial Exam and other administrative rules
