Senior P&C actuarial analyst role in San Antonio, Texas, focused on personal lines pricing, reserving, and DOI state filings. You’ll develop rates, analyze trends, run models, prepare filing documentation, and respond to regulator objections using Python, SQL, and other analysis tools. The role is onsite and offers a base salary of $90,000-$125,000.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science (or equivalent experience substituting degree)
Minimum of 2 actuarial exams completed in CAS
Must have P&C Insurance experience
Strongly preferred
State Filing Experience with DOI for personal lines of Insurance is preferred
Competency with actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques for fact-based decision-making
Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools, Python, SQL, or other analysis software
Experience with rate development, trend analysis, and state filing processes
Ability to apply complex actuarial methodologies and complete unstructured projects
Understand and comply with risk and compliance policies
