Pricing partner to underwriting
Closer to underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC role because pricing is tied to transactions, clients, brokers and live international books.
Associate P&C actuarial pricing role with Everest’s International Pricing team in Warren, NJ, with additional offices in Miami and New York. You’ll price specialty reinsurance, support underwriters on international portfolios, develop risk-transfer models, and work with clients and brokers across Latin America and Middle East & Africa.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Actuarial, Math or Science related degree with strong computer/data manipulation skills
- 1-5 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience
- Demonstrated progress toward an actuarial designation by a recognized body
- Experience in project work and tool development
- Line of business experience in Latin America, Caribbean or Middle Eastern markets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency
- Able to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams as a good team player
- Business-oriented focus: motivated, self-directed, organized, analytical
Nice to have
- Reinsurance pricing experience
- Experience with Python, R, SQL or programming
