Entry-level Life actuarial role in Transamerica’s Actuarial Development Program in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You’ll rotate across pricing, reserving, valuation, and asset/liability work while analyzing data, running models, and progressing toward an FSA through the SOA exam track. The role is hybrid, with three office days and two remote days each week.

Must have
Must have completed 1 actuarial exam
Must be an active participant in the Actuarial Student Program, taking additional exams for FSA
Must be able to interpret complex analytical data
Applicants must possess legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Strongly preferred
Previous internship in actuarial science or related field
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, advanced mathematical and analytical concepts
Works well under pressure and within time constraints
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
