Associate-level P&C actuarial analyst role supporting commercial property underwriting and portfolio analytics in Chicago. You'll perform account- and portfolio-level analyses, support pricing model updates and rate change implementation, and build analytical tools while participating in a two-year Actuarial Development Program.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support underwriting and portfolio analytics for commercial property (Major Accounts & Middle Market)
- Perform impact/dislocation analysis for pricing model updates and rate changes
- Build and enhance analytical tools and monthly reporting; reconcile complex datasets
- Present findings to underwriters, product, finance, and senior leadership
- Rotational role in Actuarial Development Program (first rotation); 2–4 years experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE

- account- and portfolio-level analytics for underwriting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2–4 years relevant actuarial or analytics experience
- Passing grades on at least 2 Casualty Actuarial Society exams required
- Commitment to pursuing ACAS/FCAS
- Intermediate MS Excel and SAS skills required; R/SQL/SAS programming preferred
- Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
