You'll perform pricing, financial and statistical projections, data queries and model development, and support reporting to customers and regulators. This hybrid role supports exam progress toward actuarial credentials.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Hybrid health actuarial role supporting Cambia health plans in OR/WA/ID/UT
- Support pricing, financial projections, and statistical analysis
- Build and maintain analytic models and data queries using SQL/SAS/Alteryx
- Prepare reports and respond to customer and regulator questions
- Support ongoing actuarial exam progress toward ASA/MAAA
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health plan data and operations
- Insurance company functions, operations, and data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required
- Passed at least one SOA exam (Student_CAS_SOA level)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and coding (e.g., SQL, SAS, Alteryx)
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance company functions and health plan data
- Hybrid work schedule in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah
