Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Health-plan analytics role on Cambia's actuarial team supporting program evaluation and reporting. You’ll extract and preprocess data, build dashboards and predictive analyses, and present findings to business partners. Hiring for two levels (Associate I: <3 yrs; Associate II: 3+ yrs) in a hybrid role across OR/WA/ID/UT (Renton, WA).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Perform program evaluation and complex quantitative analyses for health programs
Extract, cleanse, and aggregate large datasets; develop queries and reports
Build dashboards and visualizations to inform business partners
Work with Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R and Tableau
Hybrid role; work within OR, WA, ID, or UT (corporate and home office)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Program evaluation and performance analysis
Data extraction and preprocessing using SQL, Alteryx, or SAS
Dashboard and visualization development (Tableau)
Advanced analytics or predictive modelling coursework or experience
Familiarity with state and federal regulatory policies

KEY REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS in relevant field (social science, public health, economics, statistics, actuarial)
Consulting Research Associate I: <3 years; II: ≥3 years of related experience
Experience extracting and preprocessing large datasets (SQL/Alteryx/SAS/R)
Experience building dashboards and presentations (Tableau, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory policies applied to programs
