Role type

Structured actuarial student programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role—the intern receives guided exposure rather than owning models or methodology.

Summer 2027 Health actuarial internship with Milliman’s Seattle Health Practice. You’ll support consulting actuaries with healthcare data analysis, reports, pricing and forecasting models, research, and client presentations during a 12-week onsite placement in Seattle.

Requirements

Must have

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or another related field
  • Completion of one or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029
  • Willingness to work onsite full-time in Seattle, WA
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future
  • Interest in an actuarial career
  • Willingness and aptitude for detail work
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
