Senior-manager-level Health actuarial consulting role in Milliman’s Seattle Health Practice, focused on Value Based Payments for Medicare and Medicaid. You’ll analyze healthcare data, build financial models, interpret regulations, lead project teams, and develop client relationships. The role is based in Seattle with remote US candidates considered, and offers a salary range of $88,800-$208,380.

Requirements

Must have

  • ASA designation
  • 7+ years healthcare actuarial experience, 4+ in consulting or advisory role
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • 5+ years of experience with VBP arrangements (shared savings, capitation, provider risk)
  • 3+ years leading Medicare/Medicaid VBP work
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Some knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, or R
  • Strong understanding of US healthcare system
  • Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments

Nice to have

  • Experience with current Medicare/Medicaid VBP programs (REACH/LEAD, MSSP, AHEAD, TEAM, etc.)
