Health Actuarial Associate role for a North Carolina-based remote employee. You'll analyze PMPM costs, IBNR, state rate-setting, financial risk, and value-based contracts while using SQL and Excel to support modeling, reporting, and stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

Must have

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business, or related field
At least 3 years of related actuarial experience
Passed at least 2 SOA actuarial examinations
Must reside in North Carolina
Successful completion of background and credit check

Strongly preferred

Proficiency in SQL

Nice to have

Experience with Financial Close Processes
Experience supporting Health Plan
