Closer to a reserving/reporting cycle role than a pricing-underwriting partnership role—the recurring IBNR and financial-close work outweighs live deal activity.

Associate-level Health actuarial role, full-time remote for candidates based in North Carolina, with occasional travel to the Charlotte home office. You’ll analyze PMPM costs, develop IBNR models, support rate setting and value-based contracts, assess financial risk, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business, or related field
  • At least 3 years of actuarial experience
  • Passed at least 2 SOA actuarial examinations

Nice to have

  • Experience with Financial Close Processes
  • Experience supporting a Health Plan
