Entry-level P&C actuarial associate role in Allied World's North American Reinsurance Actuarial Group in New York. You will assist with treaty pricing, improve actuarial models, analyze industry data, and interact with brokers and clients. The role requires at least one CAS exam, a technical bachelor's degree, and Excel proficiency.

Requirements

Must have

  • Completion of at least one Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or another technical major
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

Strongly preferred

  • Casualty Actuarial Society designation (or equivalent)
  • 0-2 years related work experience

Nice to have

  • Recent actuarial internship experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of VBA and SAS is preferred
