Interns support commercial and personal lines pricing, loss reserving, experience analysis, reporting, and process improvements while working with experienced actuaries. The 11-week program is designed for undergraduate juniors and seniors and includes exposure to senior leadership.
Requirements
Must have
- High school diploma
Strongly preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Currently working towards an applicable degree or relevant classroom experience
- Full-time undergraduate college junior or senior
- Ability to perform at a professional level
Nice to have
- Experience with programming languages or statistical modeling packages (SQL, Access, R, Python, etc.)
- Preferably majoring in Actuarial Science, STEM, or another analytical field
