HIGHLIGHTS

Actuarial Data Analyst (P&C captives) supporting Ascot's Portfolio & Alternative Risk Transfer actuarial group in Dallas. You will build and maintain data pipelines, run scripts in R/Python/SQL, and create BI reports to monitor pricing KPIs and support underwriters. This is an associate-level, hybrid role (3+ days/week in office).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support pricing for captives and alternative risk transfer (P&C specialty)
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL into the data warehouse
  • Use SQL, R, Python, and VBA to run scripts and produce reports
  • Create BI visualizations in PowerBI or Tableau to track pricing KPIs
  • Hybrid role — at least 3 days per week in the Dallas office

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and VBA
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL
  • Excel analysis in an analytical environment

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years as a data analyst or equivalent data skills
  • Strong experience with SQL, R, Python, and VBA
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience building data pipelines and BI reports
