Role type

Structured actuarial development programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role—the three rotations deliberately broaden exposure across functions.

Entry-level P&C actuarial development role in Chicago, Illinois, with an onsite structure. You will complete three 18-month rotations across pricing, reserving, modelling, and analytics while gaining exposure to personal and commercial insurance lines. The program includes mentoring and technical training and is designed for candidates pursuing ACAS.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related discipline
  • Passing score on at least one Actuarial Exam

Strongly preferred

  • Commitment to achieving ACAS designation in the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Strong academic record (3.0 or higher cumulative GPA preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in student organization, academic project, or community service
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
