Role type

Structured actuarial development programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a specialist modelling role because the three rotations deliberately trade early depth for broad functional exposure.

Entry-level P&C actuarial development role in Plano, Texas, with an insurer. You’ll complete three 18-month rotations across reserving, pricing, modelling, and analytics while gaining exposure to personal and commercial lines. The program is designed for candidates with at least one actuarial exam who are pursuing ACAS.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science or related discipline
  • Commitment to achieving ACAS designation
  • Desire to work across a variety of actuarial functions and environments
  • Problem solver with strong analytical reasoning and mathematical concepts
  • Proven leadership skills from student organization, academic project, or community service
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Natural curiosity and passion for learning
  • Passing score on at least one actuarial exam

Nice to have

  • Strong academic record with cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
