JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and reserving for the Commercial health line
- Prepare rate filings, sign actuarial certifications and statements of opinion
- Manage and develop a team of actuarial students, credentialed actuaries, and analysts
- Oversee budget forecasting, risk adjustment, and premium deficiency reserve
- Onsite role based in Salem, OR with minimal travel (~5%)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial line pricing and reserving
- Rate filings and actuarial certifications experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least 6 years of actuarial experience
- At least 3 years of management experience
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and active American Academy of Actuaries membership
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related field
