Senior Associate Health actuarial consulting role in KPMG’s Chicago Audit practice. You’ll support group and health insurance clients through reserving, risk adjustment, actuarial value calculations, financial reporting, modeling, and data work, while mentoring junior staff and communicating with clients and upper management.
Requirements
Must have
Minimum 3 years recent actuarial work experience in a professional services environment working with actuarial software
Minimum 1 year experience with U.S. GAAP statutory financial reporting
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with strong academic background in actuarial science, applied statistics, financial analysis, insurance, or mathematics
Passed two actuarial exams
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Strongly preferred
Strong understanding of group and health insurance products
Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel and data analytic software such as R
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize work without intensive direction from supervisors
Experience with financial reporting or modeling Medicaid, Medicare, ACA, group health, long term care, and/or supplemental health products
Ability to travel as necessary
