Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role—the case studies, mentorship, and leadership presentations define the experience.

P&C actuarial internship in Warren Township, New Jersey, with an additional NYC location option. You’ll analyze distribution and reinsurance partners, support business development and management reporting, track financial trends, and build Excel-based tools in a hybrid fronting carrier environment. The role is designed for rising juniors or seniors with two actuarial exams passed.

Requirements

Must have

  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Business Economics
  • 2 actuarial exams passed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Strongly preferred

  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Thoughtful communicator
  • Self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Interested in insurance or risk management
  • Basic understanding of the insurance industry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Nice to have

  • 1 completed internship preferred
